Maximo - maximo permissions

By Default This is what IBM recommends for Oracle: (from the CREATEMaximoES.SQL file in the tools/maximo/en folder)

grant create trigger to maximo; grant create session to maximo; grant create sequence to maximo; grant create synonym to maximo; grant create table to maximo; grant create view to maximo; grant create procedure to maximo; grant alter session to maximo; grant execute on ctxsys.ctx_ddl to maximo;

--To allow Maximo to give Database Access to Maximo Users in Sig. Security, run these:

grant create user to MAXIMO; grant drop user to MAXIMO; grant create session to MAXIMO with ADMIN OPTION; grant alter user to MAXIMO;

This is closer to what you need and has worked for me quite well

create user maximo identified by maximo; alter user maximo default tablespace MAXIMO_DATA quota unlimited on maximo_data; alter user maximo quota unlimited on MAXIMO_INDEX; alter user maximo temporary tablespace temp; grant create trigger to maximo; grant create session to maximo; grant create sequence to maximo; grant create synonym to maximo; grant create table to maximo; grant create view to maximo; grant create procedure to maximo; grant alter session to maximo; grant execute on ctxsys.ctx_ddl to maximo;

grant create job to maximo;

--To allow Maximo to give Database Access to Maximo Users in Sig. Security, run these:

grant create user to MAXIMO; grant drop user to MAXIMO; grant create session to MAXIMO with ADMIN OPTION; grant alter user to MAXIMO;

-- To test to be sure it's not a problem being caused by a missing permission you can always do a:

-- grant dba to maximo;
