Change the Status of Multiple Records
Change the Status of Multiple Records
You can change the status of multiple records at one time in any application that has a change status icon on it.
Under the list tab in the application search for a common factor of all the records
Click on the change status icon and select the new status
-note: This will change the status of every record appearing in the list tab
From the query, you can pick and choose what records will be changed
To do this click the Select Records check box below the search results on the left hand side
Then check only the boxes next to the records you want to change
Click on the change status icon and select the new status
This change is site specific. If there are other similar records on different sites that need to be changed you must repeat this process for each site.
example:
If you created a Master PM and created PM's for all assets/locations involved in the Master PM, all the individual PM's will show up in "Draft" status
To change all the PM's created from this Master PM to active:
-Go to the Preventative Maintenance application
-Click on the Advanced Search arrow and select More Search Fields
-Click the Detail Menu arrow next to the Master PM field and select your Master PM
-Click Find
-Assuming the correct records are found click on the change status icon
-Change the new status to Active
This will have changed all the PM records associated with your Master PM to Active for your current site
